Getting Paid: Stripe Connect and Commission Payouts
Connect a bank account once, then pay yourself out whenever your Leads ledger has a pending commission balance.
Connecting your bank account
Under Settings → Commission payouts, click Connect Bank Account to start Stripe's hosted onboarding. You will be redirected to Stripe to securely enter your details, then returned to VerticalRent. The card on this page shows one of three states:
- Connect Your Bank Account — you have not started onboarding yet
- Finish Bank Setup — onboarding was started but not completed; click Continue Setup to pick it back up
- Bank Account Connected — Stripe has enabled charges on your account and you can pay out
Paying out a commission
Payouts happen from the Leads page, not Settings. Once your bank account is connected and your ledger has a pending balance, a Pay out $X.XX button appears there. Clicking it sends every unpaid lead's expected commission to your connected account in a single transfer and marks those leads Paid. You get an in-app notification confirming the amount sent — VerticalRent does not email a receipt for this.

What Pay out needs to be ready
- Your Stripe Connect account must have charges enabled (fully onboarded)
- Your pending total must be greater than $0.00
If either is missing, Leads shows a Connect a bank account to pay out $X.XX link to Settings instead of the Pay out button.
