The Public Service Pro Directory and Claiming Your Listing

Separate from your logged-in marketplace account, VerticalRent runs a public directory of service businesses by state and trade. If your business is already listed, you can claim it to add a Verified Business badge and contact details.

Directory vs. marketplace account

The public directory (/service-pros/directory) is separate from the marketplace account you use to quote and manage jobs (this help center, Business Profile, My Jobs, etc.). A directory listing is a public page for a business — claimed or not — searchable by state, trade, and business name.

Claiming an existing listing

If you find your business already listed and it is unclaimed, open the listing and click to claim it. The claim form asks for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• A note proving your connection to the business (optional)

Submitting shows a confirmation and puts the listing into pending review — it is temporarily removed from public directory browsing while VerticalRent reviews the claim.

After you claim it

VerticalRent reviews every claim. Once approved, the listing reappears in the directory with a Verified Business badge and a claimed date.
